This website

The website is informational. It does not require an account and it does not currently use analytics, advertising cookies or embedded tracking services.

If you email us, we receive the address and message you send so we can reply. We do not sell personal information.

Our apps

Protocol is built for personal tracking on the device, without an account. See the Protocol privacy section for that product’s approach.

GymLoad will publish product-specific privacy details when that app is released more widely.

DroneAirspace Privacy Policy

DroneAirspace ("the App") is provided by Burger Labs.

What this policy covers

This policy explains what information the App uses, where it is processed, and what we do not collect.

Location

If you allow location access, the App uses your device location while the App is open to centre the map and show aviation information around you. Location is not used for background tracking, advertising, or analytics. You can also plan manually by tapping the map, searching, or entering coordinates.

Information sent over the network

Depending on the features you use, the App may send:

• map coordinates to Open-Meteo for weather forecasts and terrain elevation estimates
• requests to NOAA SWPC for planetary K-index (space weather) information
• requests to ATNS to check for and download official South African airspace data archives
• place-search queries to Apple MapKit / Apple services

These requests are made to operate the App's planning features. We do not sell personal information.

Information stored on your device

The App may store on your device:

• saved flight sites and planning preferences
• imported airspace / layer datasets you choose to import
• official ATNS datasets downloaded into the App
• short-lived weather, space-weather, and terrain caches
• unit and weather-limit preferences

This information stays on your device unless you choose to share exported files through the system share sheet or similar OS features.

Accounts

No Burger Labs account or sign-in is required to use the App.

Subscriptions

DroneAirspace Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription purchased through Apple's App Store. Payment is processed by Apple. Burger Labs does not receive your payment card details. Subscription status is verified on your device using Apple's StoreKit; Burger Labs does not operate a separate account system for subscriptions.

Analytics and tracking

The App does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, and it does not track you across other companies' apps or websites for advertising.

Children's privacy

The App is intended for drone pilots and aviation planning. It is not directed at children.

Aviation safety notice

Information in the App is for situational awareness and flight planning only. It is not regulatory approval, air traffic control clearance, or permission to fly. Always verify current official information and obtain any required approvals before flight.

Changes

If this policy changes, the in-app copy and the hosted privacy page will be updated with a new "Last updated" date.

Humpty

Humpty analyses, extracts and verifies archive contents locally on your Mac. The contents of the ZIP files you select and the files Humpty restores are not uploaded to Burger Labs.

If you contact Burger Labs for Humpty support, we receive the email address, message and any diagnostic information you choose to send. Do not send private archives or restored files unless we specifically request a safe sample and you are authorised to share it.

ChatCrate

ChatCrate organises WhatsApp Desktop media locally on your Mac. Media you select is not uploaded to Burger Labs, message text is not read or stored, and the app does not include analytics or third-party tracking SDKs.

OffloadPilot

OffloadPilot processes selected media locally on your Mac. Footage is not uploaded to Burger Labs. Optional maps use Apple MapKit.
