OffloadPilot
BUILT FOR DJI. READY FOR SET.
Verified dual-destination media offload for DJI cameras, drones, and professional production workflows.
Copy. Verify. Hand off. Then format in camera.
OffloadPilot is purpose-built for DJI camera and drone media. It inventories every clip, creates independent copies to one or two destinations, verifies each copy by reading it back, and creates a clear handoff report before you format the source. It remains useful for other camera media where the layout is supported.
OffloadPilot is an independent Burger Labs product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by SZ DJI Technology Co., Ltd.
Made for DJI workflows
From professional DJI drone shoots to handheld DJI camera media, OffloadPilot is designed around the way DJI operators and production crews actually offload footage. It inventories the source, copies to one or two destinations, verifies the files, and produces a clear ingest record before you format the card.
Designed for media workflows from DJI cameras and drones including professional Inspire, Mavic and Osmo workflows, where the device writes a compatible media layout. CinemaDNG and other supported structures are inventoried when present.
Compatibility depends on the media structure produced by the camera or device. OffloadPilot does not claim support for every DJI product. Additional DJI workflows may be added over time.
How it works
Insert or select your DJI media. OffloadPilot looks for DJI media structures such as DCIM and DJI folders before anything is copied.
OffloadPilot inventories the card before copying begins. Review clips and files, then choose one or two destinations.
Create independent copies to the storage destinations you choose. A second destination is available, not required.
Each destination is read back and checked. A successful write is not treated as proof by itself.
Review the report, hand over the media, and format the original in the camera when you are ready.
Built for the job
Understands DJI camera media structures and professional offload workflows.
OffloadPilot does not delete or intentionally modify your source media.
Create independent offloads to the storage destinations you choose.
Files are verified from the destination after copying.
Continue an interrupted job without unnecessarily copying verified files again.
Generate clear media catalogs and verification reports.
Source protection
Source media is read-only from OffloadPilot’s point of view. The app never deletes, alters or formats source media. Format only in the camera when you are ready.
Core offload and verification run locally on your Mac. No Burger Labs cloud service is required to copy or verify files.
Compatibility
OffloadPilot is built around DJI camera media structures, including DCIM and DJI folders from cards, aircraft SSDs, PROSSD volumes, and DJI Fly folders on disk.
Designed for media workflows from DJI cameras and drones including professional Inspire, Mavic and Osmo workflows, and other DJI camera media where the device writes a compatible layout.
Compatibility depends on the media structure produced by the camera or device. Additional DJI workflows may be added over time.
Privacy
Selected media stays on your computer and on the destination drives you choose. Burger Labs does not receive your footage, captions, checksums or offload reports.
Optional flight maps use Apple MapKit, which may contact Apple map services. The app does not include advertising or analytics SDKs.
Requirements
OffloadPilot requires macOS 14 or newer. It is sandboxed: you grant access to the source and destination folders it needs. Compatible DJI cards, aircraft SSDs and PROSSD volumes can be detected when mounted, or chosen with the system folder picker.
A built-in sample media path is available in Help so a typical DJI-style workflow can be tried without camera hardware. Sample jobs are labelled SAMPLE DEMO and are not genuine production offloads.
OffloadPilot is coming to the Mac App Store. The download link will appear here when the listing is live.
