Numlume Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 October 2026
Numlume is a Burger Labs number-chain puzzle game for iPhone. In short: the game does not collect, transmit or share any personal information. Your progress and settings are stored only on your device.
Effective date
This policy is effective from 1 October 2026 and applies to Numlume version 1.0 and later for iPhone.
Information we collect
None. Numlume does not collect, transmit or share personal information. There is no account or sign-in, and Burger Labs does not receive anything about how you play.
- No account, sign-in or profile.
- No advertising.
- No analytics or crash-reporting SDKs.
- No connection to Burger Labs servers or any other online service. The game works fully offline.
Information stored on your device
To remember your game, Numlume saves a small amount of information locally on your iPhone using Apple’s standard app storage (UserDefaults). This includes your best score, highest Stage and Chapter, discovered milestones, Mastery Stars, unlocked chain trails, game statistics such as your longest chain, and your Sound and Haptics settings.
This information never leaves your device through Numlume and is not sent to Burger Labs.
Device permissions
Numlume does not request or access your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos, health data, calendar or files. It plays sound effects and haptics, which you can turn off in the game’s Settings.
Tracking and advertising
Numlume does not track you across apps or websites, does not use the advertising identifier, and does not show ads.
Third parties
Numlume contains no third-party code that collects data. Apple distributes the app through the App Store under Apple’s own privacy policy. If you have chosen in your iPhone settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may provide Burger Labs with aggregated, non-identifying crash and usage reports; you can change this in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.
The Privacy Policy and Support links in the game open this website in your browser. The website’s own practices are described in the Burger Labs Privacy Policy.
Children’s privacy
Numlume does not collect personal information from anyone, including children. If a child contacts us by email, we use the message only to reply and delete it on request.
Your rights
Burger Labs is based in South Africa. If we hold personal information about you — typically because you emailed us — you may ask us to confirm what we hold, correct it, or delete it where that is reasonably possible. We will respond in a reasonable time.
This page explains our practices in plain language. It is not legal advice and it does not claim that Burger Labs is certified under every privacy law that may apply to you. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may also contact the Information Regulator in South Africa.
Security and retention
Burger Labs does not hold any Numlume game data on a server, so there is nothing for us to retain or delete on your behalf. Game progress and settings stay on your iPhone until you delete the app. Deleting Numlume removes that data from the device; it may also be included in your own iCloud or computer device backups, which you control.
If you email us, we keep your message as long as needed to answer it and for ordinary business records. We take reasonable steps to protect correspondence, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the product’s behaviour or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when that happens. Continued use of the product after an update means you should read the revised policy.
