Getting Started

Understanding the briefing screen

Read the aviation risk summary, contributing factors and detail sections.

The briefing screen combines aviation risk, weather context and links to map layers. Start with the headline risk level, then expand contributing factors.

Main sections

  • Aviation risk summary — overall assessment for your planned location, height and radius;
  • Contributing factors — airspace, aerodromes, terrain and data confidence;
  • Weather — current conditions and planning context;
  • Aviation Details — deeper airspace and facility information (detailed sections require Pro).

How to use it

Read factors in order of severity. A lower risk level does not remove regulatory obligations. An Unable to determine result means the app could not complete analysis — verify manually before proceeding.

DroneAirspace is decision support for flight planning. It does not grant permission, authorisation or regulatory approval to fly. Always verify current official aeronautical information before an operation.
