Understanding airspace on the map

How controlled and other airspace appears on the DroneAirspace map.

Airspace boundaries on the map come from official ATNS aeronautical data. Coloured regions show controlled and other published airspace relevant to drone planning.

What you see

  • Controlled airspace volumes with labelled classes and floors/ceilings where published;
  • Aerodrome and heliport symbols linked to facility information;
  • Your planning point, operation radius and planned height context.

What the map does not show

Temporary restrictions, military activity, unpublished hazards and NOTAMs are not fully represented in v1.0. Check official ATNS and SACAA sources for current notices before every operation.

DroneAirspace is decision support for flight planning. It does not grant permission, authorisation or regulatory approval to fly. Always verify current official aeronautical information before an operation.
