Planning tools vs legal authority

Separate app output from regulatory decisions.

DroneAirspace outputs are planning aids. Legal authority to operate comes from SACAA rules, exemptions, approvals and ATS clearances.

Examples

  • Risk level — planning indicator, not a certificate;
  • Map overlay — published data depiction, not a flight approval;
  • Weather tile — model estimate, not an official forecast product;
  • Pro subscription — feature access, not operational permission.

When authorities disagree

Official sources and ATS instructions always take precedence over any app display.

DroneAirspace is decision support for flight planning. It does not grant permission, authorisation or regulatory approval to fly. Always verify current official aeronautical information before an operation.
