Current wind and gusts

Reading wind speed and gust information on the map and briefing.

DroneAirspace shows current wind and gust values for your planning area. Use them to judge whether conditions suit your aircraft and skill level.

What to watch

  • Sustained wind versus your aircraft rated limit;
  • Gust spread — large gaps indicate turbulent conditions;
  • Local funneling around buildings, ridges and coastlines not fully modelled.

Pro features

Advanced weather planning and weather limit preferences (Pro) help you set personal thresholds. Exceeding your limits is an operational decision, not an aviation risk override.

DroneAirspace is decision support for flight planning. It does not grant permission, authorisation or regulatory approval to fly. Always verify current official aeronautical information before an operation.
